Once upon a time, I fell in love with a “little” MASTERPIECE theatre show called “Downton Abbey.” I started blogging about it for Georgia Public Broadcasting’s blog “Desperate for Downton.”
And my life and that blog was never the same.
The blog numbers skyrocketed, I developed a community and following and I became a Downton authority. I am applying what I did for GPB on this site – my personal site – now.
I will be sharing my story and tips on how others can do the same with their entertainment blogs and sites at Wordcamp Atlanta 2014 on Friday March 14 at 3 p.m. in the session: How to Build a Following Around Your Favorite TV Show or Movie.
Wordcamp is a conference for people who blog and develop sites using WordPress to educate each other. The conference is sold out but I will be posting the slides from my presentation soon. I hope you can benefit from it.
